DISCIPLESHIP - SUMMARY
CLICK ON EACH TOPIC TO EXPAND THE STUDY.1 - The Inspiration of ScriptureThe document states that the addition of inspired scripture has infallible authority of faith and conduct. II Timothy 3:16 - 16 - All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness;
- The One True GodIn this non-negotiable document of Fundamental Truths, declares that God has revealed Himself as eternal and existing in himself, "I AM"; Exodus 3:14 - 14 - And God said unto Moses, I AM WHO I AM. He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel: I AM sent me to you.Declares relationship and association between God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit, creator of heaven and earth and Redeemer of mankind, John 14:16-26 - 16 - I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, to be with you forever; 26 - But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said.Declares God revealed as Tri-Uno, with distinction in the tangent to the person, however undivided to the deity. John 15:26 - 26 - But when the Comforter is come, I from the Father will send unto you, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me.
- The Deity of our Lord Jesus ChristIn the Declaration of Truth produced by the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, without sin, who worked miracles, suffered vicarious sacrifice on the cross, rose bodily from the dead, is exalted to the right of God the Father .Philippians 2:6-11 - 6 - Who, being in very nature God, did not robbery to be equal with God,7 - But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness; 8 - And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, death on a cross 9 - Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him a name which is above every name: 10 - For the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and on earth and under the earth , 11 - and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
- The Fall of ManMan was created good and just as like the triune God, but fell by voluntary transgression, taking upon himself the spiritual death which is separation from God, and also receiving physical death as a consequence of its fall. Isaiah 59:2-3 - 2 - But your iniquities have separated you from your God and your sins have hidden His face from you, so you will not hear. 3 - For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity: your lips have spoken lies, your tongue mutters wickedness.
- The Salvation of ManThe only way to achieve the salvation of man is seen by the following conditions, privileges and evidence, the following statements in the document:Through the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, I John 1:7 - 7 - But if we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son, in cleanses from all sin.Through repentance toward God, Luke 5:32 - 32 - I came not to call the righteous, but, but sinners to repentance.By faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 20:21 - 21 - Testifying both to Jews and to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.By the renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5 - 5 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,The man is justified by grace through faith, and become co-heir with Christ Jesus, the Son of God. Romans 8:17 - 17 - And if we are children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, so that we may be also glorified with him.The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Spirit, and the external proofs, in the eyes of all men, is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
- The Ordinances of the ChurchThose who repent and believe in Jesus Christ, the ordinance of baptism by immersion, telling the world that died with Christ, and should walk in new life. Romans 6:3-4 - 3 - Know ye not that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 - Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life.The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements - bread and fruit of the vine in memory of the suffering and death of Jesus by crucifixion, and proclamation of His second coming.I Corinthians 11:24-25 - 24 - And he had given thanks, He broke it and said, Take, eat: this is my body which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 - In like manner also, after supper he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.
- The Baptism in the Holy SpiritIt was a normal experience in the early Christian church. Acts 11:16 - 16 - And I remembered the word of the Lord, he said, John indeed baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.Believers today must earnestly seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ, coming on the limb the endowment of power in the service and work of the ministry.Luke 24:49 - 49 - And behold, I send upon you the promise of my Father: but stay in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued from on high power.The baptism in the Holy Spirit is subsequent to the new birth experience, and is a distinctive experience.The experiences that accompany the baptism in the Holy Spirit are:Overflowing fullness of the Spirit, Ephesians 3:19 - 19 - And know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that ye may be filled with all the fullness of God.Deep reverence for God, Hebrews 12:28 - 28 - Therefore, receiving a kingdom that can not be shaken, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and piety;An intense commitment to God, Hebrews 10:20 - 20 - By a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, his flesh;More active love for Christ through His Word, and dedication to his work for the lost. Romans 12:6-8 - 6 - So, with different gifts, according to the grace given to us, if prophecy, according to the proportion of faith; 7 - If it's service, in ministering: or he is teaching , on teaching; 8 - Or that exhorts, on exhortation: he that giveth, do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
- The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy SpiritSpeaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God wills, Acts 2:4 - 4 - And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.The speaking in tongues has the same essence as the gift of tongues but is different in purpose and use. I Corinthians 14:2-4 - 2 - For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaks not to men but to God, because no one understands, in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 4 - What speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
- SanctificationIs the act of separation.Those seeking sanctification should depart from what is bad, and devote himself to God.Without holiness no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14 - 14 - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord;By the power of the Holy Spirit, we are able to obey the command: "Be holy, for I am holy." I Peter 1:15-16 - 15 - But as the Holy One who called you, be ye holy in all your way of life, 16 - Because it is written: Be holy, for I am holy.Sanctification is accomplished through identification with Christ in his passion, by faith in the unit daily, and daily offering to the domain of the Holy Spirit upon them.
- The Church and Its MissionThe Church is the Body of Christ,The Church is the habitation of God through the Spirit.Each believer, born of the Spirit is an integral part of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, which are written in heaven.Purpose of the Church is to save the lost.Building a body of believers in the image of His Son.Evangelize the world.Worship God in the congregation.Being a channel of God's purposes.Show love and compassion for everyone.Prioritize permanent evangelization with accompanying supernatural signs.Care for the poor and needy of the world.

- The Blessed HopeIt consists of the statement of hope that those who sleep in Christ shall rise to heaven and trasladarão, along with those who are alive at the coming of the Lord.

I Thessalonians 4:15-17 - 15 - We tell you then it is by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17 - Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. This statement is the imminent and blessed hope of the church, the coming of Jesus Christ.
- The Millennial Reign of ChristThe second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is the blessed hope. It will be followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for a thousand years. Revelation 20:4 - 4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and they were given the power to judge, and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and by the word of God, and not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands, and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace.
- The Last JudgmentThere will be a judgment of the wicked dead will be resurrected.Whoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and false prophet, will be released in everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Revelation 20:14-15 - 14 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 12 - And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before God, and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the life. The dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to his works. 15 - And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
- The New Heavens and New Earth"We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness." II Peter 3:1313 - But we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
